Prospects are Looking for You!

I was reading the other day about the importance of incoming links to a website. One idea that I read seemed so simple, I could not believe that I did not think of it! There are several online directories / yellow pages-type sites that allow you to list for free.

One benefit is, this is a place where prospects look for you. A lot of people still use the Yellow Pages or other phone books to find a solution to their problem. These online directories (usually created by these phone book publishers) are virtual versions of the books.

Another benefit is that search engines reading the directories see that a webpage with your keyword(s) is linking to you, and you are not linking back. This looks good to them!
